Not able to create a custom model in Azure Open AI Studio

Hello,

I am currently not able to create a custom model in the Azure OpenAI studio.

I have prepared the training and validation with the Azure CLI, but I am not able to actually create the model. When I try to create it, it gives me the Error "Unable to create the model. Please try again later".

I am on the West Europe Region.

Hello Saurabh Sharma,

I seem to be able to deploy the models now. I was getting the errror before, where it kept telling me that the models I had tried to finetuning did not accept finetuning. I was trying on the models available to me, ada, babbage and curie.

I do have a question more tho. Do you know when the davinci model will be available to newer Open AI customers for finetuning? I am currently only able to choose between ada, curie and babbage.

Hi Jens Bassem Hanna Issa,

Good to hear that you are able to deploy the models now. Regarding fine tuning, I do not have insights to when Davinci or any other models will be available for fining tuning. Please keep an eye out for the updates from the products team over documentation.

Hello again Saurabh Sharma,

I have a question for you again. Sorry to bother you this much :-).

I have quite the weird bug, I think? I tried deploying a model with my fine-tuned dataset, and then it went into a weird loop. Let me explain my process:

I first tried creating a model based on my finetuned data, called "testdeploy". Then it started to act weird, and seemed to create a whole bunch of notifications, which were the same. It seemed to go into a kind of loop. Then i decided to delete that specific deployment, as it seemed to not go anywhere. Then I decided to create a new deployment, called "deploytest", which in retrospect was a terrible idea, as it also seemed to go into a kind of loop, and the old "deploytest" notifications/processes did not go away.

Note that it also seems to create a new process/notification every 15 mins. I hope that when I wake up tomorrow, that I won't have a bunch of notifications with the same message, haha!.
