Unable to deploy an app in Azure OpenAI Studio

Hi,

I was able to deploy an app last week from the Azure OpenAI Studio. I am using Bring Your Own Data and have configured the cognitive search and storage. When I click on "Deploy to", it opens the "Deploy to a web app" window. I filled in all the information regarding the app, subscription, resource group, location, and pricing plan. I also ticked the acknowledge checkbox. When I click on "Deploy" nothing happens. Earlier there was a notification that used to show that my app is being deployed but now I do not get that notification anymore. What could be the possible reason for this behavior and how can I resolve it?

What's the model you are trying to use for the deployment and in which region?

I have tried deploying GPT-35-Turbo in East US and it worked fine.

I am able to reproduce this issue with gpt-35-turbo-16k version and checking internally with the products team.

@Srishti Ganguly This issue has been fixed now and you should be able to deploy the web app. I have tried it my environment and it worked fine this time.

Model: gpt-35-turbo, Version: 0301, Capacity: 120K TPM. Region: West Europe.

The current issue is that I can see that the app is being deployed but it has been more than an hour and it is still not deployed. Earlier last week, I used the same model for the same region, and the app was deployed within 3 minutes. Is there a limitation on the number of apps that can be deployed?

Hi,

Not sure what the problem is, but today when I tried to deploy a web app it worked. The web app that I tried to deploy yesterday did not complete and is still showing that the app is being deployed. Kindly, make a note of this issue.

@Srishti Ganguly That is good to hear. Unfortunately, there was some bug preventing it for the deployment for which products team has provided a fix. Regarding your long running deployment from what I know, the deployment depends on the region in which the webapp is deployed. If the region is running hot, webapp deployment might take a lot of time. The time should be the same as creating a new webapp using the azure portal.

unfortunately, the same problem continues even today. Even after 6 to 7 hours, the deployment is not completed.
