HDMI functionality is not working after recent windows 11 update made on 16th September, '2023-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5030219)'

Note: Brightness option is also not displaying on the right side of the taskbar.

HDMI Port stops working after every Windows 11 Update and this is fustrating. Can use my second screen until N-Vida releases an update. Why does MS Break something that is working!!!!

Have you tried updating your Graphic Card driver?

Did you tried uninstalling the update?

Yes, I uninstalled and installed again the Graphic Card Driver and it didn't work.

How can I rollback the windows to previous version?

I would if I could. It is not possible to un-install the update that caused the Issue...

September 26, 2023—KB5030310 (OS Build 22621.2361) Preview - is the update that is causing the Issue as the HDMI Port worked 100% before this update installed on 01/10/2023.

And I did try and update the display driver but it is up to date.

I also tried removing the Display adapter and restarting the PC so that Windows can re-install the driver but that is also not working.

What is the problem with uninstall the update.

Is it not exists or it shows error when you want to uninstall?

What Video card do you have? Is it a built-in one or a branded one such as nVidia?

NVIDIA graphic, I uninstalled the updates and updated the graphic drivers and restarted the system several times. But, issue still persists and I can't connect to external monitor. Even I noticed that, sleep option gone in shutdown options and earlier it was available.

Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features

Click “View Installed Updates” in the left pane.

Locate KB5030219, right-click it, and select Uninstall.

Restart your PC when prompted.

Open Device Manager > Locate Graphic Card > Uninstall it along with software application > Reboot > Let OS detect the hardware.

Update graphic card driver from the support site of the manufacturer.

Now see if it's working.
