Hi All,

I have a java application using web socket connect with C# RTD server, transfer streaming data through RTD to excel (2010, 32bits version).

It work fine for previous Window version like win 7, win 10 using excel 2010 32 bits version

Also it can work fine with win 11, excel 365 64 bit version

However, once start it up in win 11 using excel 2010 32 bits version, it cant open and excel crashed.

If anyone know there are any limitation for excel RTD for win 11, so i cant use excel 2010?

Thanks,

    Hi,

Seems like some compatibility issue I think.

Here are some suggestions from my side-

    1. Make sure that both Windows 11 and Office 2010 are fully updated so if there is any compatibility issue, it can be resolved.
    2. Try running Excel 2010 in compatibility mode for Windows 10. To do that, locate your Excel.exe, right-click on it, go to properties, in the "Compatibility" tab, enable compatibility mode, and choose Windows 10.
    3. Consider using the 64-bit version of Excel 2010 if your system supports it as it's more compatible.
    4. Check the Windows Event Viewer for any error messages or logs related to the Excel crash. It may be able to provide more details.

Also, refer to this article in order to know more about how you can fix this crashing issue.

    Best Regards.
