i have installed extension for oracle in azure data studio but it is not showing in connection types ?

Yes, I have downloaded the same extension. I will inform you further after updating azure studio if there is any update.

I also have a question that is it required to download oracle software before that extension ?

If yes, please use the same connection details when trying to access through ADS.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I understand, you are not able to see Oracle connection type in Azure Data Studio after enabling Oracle extension.

Could you please let us know if you are installing extension same as below:

You should see Oracle as one of the Connection type as shown above.

If not, please try to update Azure Data Studio and see.

Please share screenshots so that we can further investigate.
