For some users the Open Share etc icon appears as square box in the chrome browser.

Is the same situation in other browsers?

According to my experience, this is generally due to the network. It is recommended that you refresh it several times.

It happens to certain users only. In Microsoft Edge the icons are displayed correctly for those users. Refresh didn't help.

Because this happens to only some users, I suggest you delete these users and add them again.
If they continue to encounter this problem while ensuring a smooth network, I suggest you contact support for business products.
