Hey everyone,

I'm just wondering if there is an updated list of DNS addresses that Microsoft uses for Windows Updates? I've been using this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/457840/what-are-the-ip-ranges-for-microsofty-windows-upda as a reference for my Sophos firewall, but when I try to run updates the live log of my firewall is showing that it's being country blocked, which leads me to believe there's maybe a DNS address that is missing from my list of allowed addresses.

So does anyone know if that list is still up to date or if there's anything that might be missing?

Thanks!

Microsoft may periodically update the DNS addresses it uses for Windows Updates, and these updates can be important for maintaining the security and functionality of your Windows operating system.

You can check for updates through your Windows Update settings, as Windows will automatically use the necessary DNS addresses to connect to Microsoft's update servers.
