Outlook Calendar VBA

Hi,

I want to use three Outlook Calendars in Overlay mode and put them on a display screen for the team to refer to and update when necessary.

However, it’s very difficult to get a view that is useable. The week views are too short – the month views are the best, but they don’t show all the data, as in the example below they add a +x to show hidden items which is no good at all as seen in Picture 1.

There is a way around this. By dragging over the weeks displayed in the calendars on the left it’s possible to display a better time period, i.e. 2 weeks and this shows all the data as shown in Picture 2Picture2

This is perfect but for some reason you can’t set this as a default view. My plan was to record a macro and attach it to a button to display this view – but you can't record macros in Outlook so I’m down to writing the vba – but I have no idea where to start. I’ve done a load of searches which have not turned up anything useful.

Does anyone have any experience of this or can give me a starting point. I’ve done vba in Excel, word and access but none in Outlook.

Many thanks.
