RDP for VM created from OS DIsk Snapshot

Hello Team,

I have taken snapshot of OS disk and created the new disk from the snapshot.

and Created the VM attaching the newly created disk.

How to take RDP for it?

Hi PR,

If you have taken Snapshot of the VM and created new VM with it you can use the usual methods to take RDP of it

A few options are :

Make sure you are using the Credentials same as earlier VM.

Hi Tushar,

I have not taken snapshot of VM, i have taken snapshot of OS disk and from that Snapshot created New Disk.

When i try to create VM from the new unattached disk, i didn't even ask credentials while creating VM.

How to configure RDP credentials for the new VM?

Hi PR,

The Same local credentials will work for you here , If you are still having some problems you can always use reset password option.

I did Password reset also but when i try to take RDP, i am getting error "Internal error occured" when i try to do RDP.

You have an option to reset the RDP settings in the same, give it a go.
