I came back from overseas and lost the authenticator code on my Google Authenticator app for one of the guest accounts/organisations that I belong to.

When logging in, it asked for the authenticator code, which I don't have and don't know how to add it back.

    Hello

I’m sorry to hear that you lost your authenticator code. Here are the steps to add another authenticator code in Google Authenticator app:

1.On your new phone, install the Google Authenticator app.

2.In the Google Authenticator app, tap Get Started and sign in.

3.Tap Menu > Transfer accounts > Import accounts.

4.On your old phone, create a QR code:

In the Authenticator app, tap Menu > Transfer accounts > Export accounts.

Select the accounts you want to transfer to your new phone.

Tap Next. If you transfer more than one account, your old phone may create more than one QR code.

5.On your new phone, tap Scan QR code. After you scan your QR codes, you’ll get confirmation that your Authenticator accounts have been transferred.

If you don’t have access to your old phone or can’t use it, you might need to use backup codes or other recovery options associated with your account.
