Problem signing up for free office 365 education

Question

Hi,

I work for a small school and was tasked to sign up for office 365 Education free plan. I used the school "edu" domain and purchased an essential license first. But then when I go to office page and enter my email I get this message: "Sorry, something went wrong We're sorry but there's a problem. Please contact your IT department to get a license."

I am the admin so far and I tried different browsers but still getting the same error message. What am I doing wrong here?

Me too, I have been facing the same issue for weeks now, trying to register my schools using free Office 365 for education. when I put the school email, I get the same error.

Sajnos az admin.microsoft.com regisztrációt követően nem tudunk az iskola számára ingyenes licent igényelni. elhárításában a magyar képviseletek nem tudnak segíteni! az oldal hibaüzenete vegyük fel a kapcsolatot az informatikájukkal!

Ez sajnos sehol nem felelhető!
