Using Azure text-to-speech service for commercial purposes

I would like to use audio files output from Azure TTS service in my company's videos (e.g. company introduction and training videos). I can't find any document about this so I am asking here.

  1. Can I use the Azure text-to-speech service for commercial purposes?
  2. If so, do I need to get a license or authorization?
  3. Can I use the free tier for commercial purposes? or do I have to use the pay-as-you-go tier or another tier that requires payment?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you.

Hello @Gus Ho , Thanks for using Microsoft Q&A Platform.

Yes, you can use the audio output from TTS for commercial purpose, as long as you are using a valid standard(paid) pricing tier such as Pay-as-you-go tier. There is no special license or authorization required for the usage of this service output. But please comply with the code of conduct: Code of Conduct for text-to-speech integrations | Microsoft Docs.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Vasavi
