i have created an azure cosmos for mongo. in network setting only private end point is enabled. i am able to telnet private end point ip from vm in same vnet but not able to connect mongo db using its private end point ip address.

why we can not connect and access azure cosmos for mongo db using its private end point ip address.

i did same with azure cache for redis, redis i am able to connect it using its private end point ip address.

Hi @GeethaThatipatri-MSFT , thank you for response, but my issue is not related to VPN.

I have created a "Azure cosmos for mongo db account",

and i have AKS, and some VM's in some subnet(subnet 1),

create an private end point for "Azure cosmos for mongo db account" in subnet 1.

Now from AKS and from VM i am able to telnet private end point ip address, but i am not able to connect and access "Azure cosmos for mongo db account" using that private end point ip address.

i dont want to use private DNS zone, and i don't want to connect directly using its FQDN, i want to connect cosmos db for mongo using its private end point ip address.
