Program code does not open

Question

I created a console application. It worked fine. I few months later I opened sln-file of my project, but there's a black screen instead of my code. What can be wrong?

Please try the following workarounds:

1. Open the Visual Studio Installer to update VS.
2. Repair VS using Visual Studio Installer > More > Repair.
3. Create a new project and check if it occurs in specific project or not.
4. Launch your Visual Studio in Safe Mode (run devenv /SafeMode in Developer Command Prompt for VS).
5. Please temporarily turn off any anti-virus software. 

If it doesn’t work, please share us more details, such as Visual Studio version, so that we can investigate it further.
