This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I recently reset windows and was having difficulties with my NIC going in and out. so I uninstalled it via device manager and rebooted to reinstall it . I looked in Event viewer and found the following:Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15B8&SUBSYS_86721043&REV_00\3&11583659&0&FE requires further installation.
Any help appreciated as the pc is sluggish on the network.

Dave, sorry for the late reply. I did find the problem which was twofold. First was what my provider calls an on1 interface. it converts the fiber signal to cat five. Well, the female cat five connect is faulty and the cable just falls out, "waiting on a new one.
I also did a clean install of windows which probably did wonders as it hasn't been done since 2017 and several other glitches in between. Thank you!!!
