As an employee and as a student I have access to Microsoft 365 from both my employer and my school where I am pursuing a Doctoral degree. Is it possible for me to install WORD on my computer or do I have to purchase an additional personal license to download 365 to my home computer?

    Hi

it depend of the licence your company purchase and if they block it or no (for example, we have blocked it even if we have the licence that allow it.

Go to the page "https://myaccount.microsoft.com/ ". then select the "office apps" option on the left if it exist. Go then to the "apps and device" and see if the download of office 365 is allowed.

The licence is supposed to be active for as long as you are an employe/student ( and you need to login in word/office with the employe/student login, max 5 active installation if I remember well)

Very likely. It does depend on the licensing that your school applies, but I'd say there's a good chance you do. Go to https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=MeControl#. If you have the 'Install Office' button under 'Office apps & devices' you can install office on your computer.
