I used my domain account in the rules of the deployment share in MDT.Today the password expired and I changed my password. As a result, when I upgraded the system through the network using MDT2 today, it prompted "A connection to the deployment share could not be made." .

connection ok.possible cause:invalid credentials.

retry:try again to connect to the deployment share.

What do I need to do? I have changed the password of the domain account in the rules, and then updated the deployment share.

    Hi, @author-6204

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The credentials under the BootStrap.ini file is written to the Lite Touch Windows PE boot image when we update deployment share.

So, after you update the credentials under the BootStrap.ini file and update deployment share, we may also need to update the new boot image in WDS before we do a PXE boot.
