I want to be able to create links to OneDrive / Sharepoint locations without having to define user permissions

so that upon link creation the same sharing / access rules apply as they are already on the file

which results into not having to make extra clicks in the process and reduce work.

In OneDrive and SharePoint, you can create links to files and folders that inherit the existing sharing and access rules. This allows you to share content without explicitly defining user permissions each time.
