When downloading visio and project (for the first time ever) there is a weird DVD format that gets downloaded. Idk why it's not just an exe file. But when it's like this you have to open the downloaded file and then you get a dvd drive which I guess is like a .dmg on Mac so it makes sense but it doesn't have a name of the driver, just DVD drive F: 16....

    Hi @David Grimsley,

May I know where did you download Visio and Project 2021 from and is it an official source? Generally, if you have a Visio and Project plan, you can sign in to Office.com and install Visio from the Apps & devices section of My account. If you want to have more control over how the subscription version of Visio is deployed to your users, you can do the following instead:

    1. Download the Office Deployment Tool from the Microsoft Download Center.
    2. Create a configuration.xml file to use with the Office Deployment Tool to install the subscription version of Visio.
    3. Use the Office Deployment Tool to deploy the subscription version Visio.
