Can't open my own notebook in OneNote and OneDrive (Mac) with the desktop app. The Authenticator App replies a login error and cannot find my account.

Question

I use OneNote on my Mac-Desktop with a company account and also want to include my personal note book. This was possible right now. Now, I got a new company account and it is not possible any more. The Authenticator App on my iPhone tells my the account cannot be found. Same message appears after a new registration of my personal account.

Try signing out of all Microsoft 365 apps and signing in again with your personal account. If the issue persists, install the reset tool for Mac: https://office-reset.com/ and select "Reset License and Sign-in".
