Help! My Excel on my Mac has lost the "On my Mac" option for locating files to open? It is still there in Word and PPT

This morning, I have opened Excel 16.77 and the "On My Mac" option in "Other Locations" when opening a file has disappeared. It is still there in MS Word 16.77.1, it is also there on PowerPoint 16.77.1
When I check to see if there is an update for Excel in App store it doesn't show that there is one (how come Excel is not 16.77.1?)
Any ideas please.
