How do I stop OneDrive files from showing up in my file explorer Recent tab?

The OneDrive was shared between 2 devices (A and B), it is still in use in device B but no longer in use in device A. OneDrive files opened in device B shows up on the recent tab on device A file explorer.

I've already unlinked the account in device A. (date 22/9)

When that doesn't work, I logged in a different account to device A. Old OneDrive files still shows up in recent tab. (23/9)

I ended up uninstalling OneDrive (24/9) hoping that fixes the problem but files from that OneDrive still shows up and is flooding my recent tab.

I don't know what else to do. My recent tab keeps getting flooded by device B usage and it bothers me.

    Hi @Vy,

    Thanks for the detailed description.

This is a very uncommon problem, perhaps something is wrong with your OneDrive.

However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, please kindly provide more information below to let us work further.

1.Make sure again that you are not using the same account for OneDrive on device A and device B. You can go to OneDrive settings to check.

2.Please open settings->Apps->Advanced app settings. Make sure "Share across devices" is off.

3.Try deleting the OneDrive credentials and then restart OneDrive.

4.If the problem persists, then please sign into OneDrive on a device other than A and B to see if the problem reappears on other devices as well.
