App not visible when I want to add a tab in shared channel

I have created a shared channel. Then I want to add the application to the shared channel as a tab. When adding a tab and search for the application, I can't find the application. Tried in both Teams web and desktop, both same result.

But I am able to search and add the application in normal channel.

What could be the issue? Is there anything need to configure or setup?

Appreciate your help. Thanks.

It's possible that the application you're trying to add as a tab is not supported in shared channels. Some apps may not be designed to work in shared channels, or may require additional configuration to work properly.

You can check the documentation for the application to see if it supports shared channels, and if there are any specific steps you need to follow to add it as a tab in a shared channel.

If the application does support shared channels and you're still having trouble adding it as a tab, you may need to contact the app's support team for further assistance.
