    • If the issue persists, you can try taking ownership of the file and then granting yourself the necessary permissions to modify it. Here's how:
    1. Right-click on the file vcruntime140.dll in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ and select "Properties."
    2. Go to the "Security" tab.
    3. Click on "Advanced" at the bottom.
    4. In the "Advanced Security Settings" window, click on the "Change" link next to the owner's name.
    5. Enter your username in the "Enter the object name to select" field and click "Check Names." Your username should become underlined.
    6. Click "OK" and then check the box that says "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects."
    7. Click "Apply" and "OK" to close all the windows.

    Adjust Permissions:

    • After taking ownership, you may need to adjust the file permissions to allow modifications. In the "Properties" window for the file, go to the "Security" tab and click "Edit" under "Permissions."
    • Add your user account if it's not listed, and make sure it has "Full control" or at least "Modify" permissions.
    1. Reinstall the Software:
    • If the error persists, consider uninstalling the software or application that's causing the problem and then reinstalling it. During the installation, make sure to run it as an administrator.
