    Hi @R.B.V,

I would suggest you installing SQL Server 2022 Developer edition on the machine with the Windows 11 OS.

Why installing older version 20016, when current version 2022 is available?

I'm running all versions from SQL 2008 and on my Windows 11 machine, supported or not.

But if you only want version, SQL 2022 may be a better choice. Then again, the depends on your exact needs.

    Hi @R.B.V

It is highly suggested to install the supported version as said in the documentation.
