Hi, I want to ask some questions. please read this, it's related to my question. I just bought a laptop but with no OS installed, so I installed Windows 10 on it. then I saw something at my notification bar, it was about updating Windows 10 to Windows 11. I also own pc and my pc is Windows 11. I connected both my devices with a single Microsoft account. I checked the license key and it says Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account on both of my devices. and here is the question, can I upgrade my laptop to Windows 11 without any problem? I heard that 1 license key can only activate 1 device. I forgot what kind of license key I own but when I connect my laptop to my account, I don't have to register a license key again. and I am worried that if I upgrade my laptop to Windows 11, my license key on my laptop will be disabled.

Thank you!

please help!! asap!!

    Hello Aa Fathur,

Upgrading your laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 11 should not be an issue if both of your devices are already linked to your Microsoft account with digital licenses. Microsoft introduced a feature called "Digital Entitlement" that ties your Windows license to your Microsoft account, but you will still need to have separate licenses in the account. The way that "Digital Entitlement" works is that when you activate Windows or other Microsoft software on a device using a Microsoft account, the digital entitlement is tied to that device's hardware. This means that the specific hardware configuration of that device is what's associated with the digital entitlement, not the Microsoft account.
