What is the difference between the log type in the application and service log folder and the log type in the Application log folder

    Windows Built-in Application log (wide effect)
    This log contains errors, warnings, and informational events that relate to the operation of apps such as Microsoft Exchange Server, the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) service, and other applications.

    Application and service logs (narrow effect)
    The Applications and Services Logs node stores events from a single application or component rather than events that might have system-wide effects.
