Is it possible to use Windows.devices in a console application? I would like to use Windows.devices for bluetooth and geoposition, how to use these functions in c# console application?

I read the post from the link you provided, tell me what to do if the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework.NETCore\v4.5\System.Runtime.WindowsRuntime.dll " missing?

If .NET Framework is installed correctly, this file should not be missing

It is weird as it should be there and not hidden if the .NET Framework has been installed normally

You don't see it even in a .cmd window ?

Unfortunately not, I tried reinstalling visual studio with all the components and completely.net Framework, it always creates this folder only with .xml files. Below is a complete list of files in the system with the same name and extension

You can download mine : System.Runtime.WindowsRuntime.zip

(unzip it in the folder where it should be, or anywhere, then try to add it as Reference)

Unfortunately, even that didn't work, but thanks for the help. I think I'll try to find another way to determine the location to use bluetooth

The namespace is grayed.

Did you add the Reference to the right "Windows.winmd" ? (not the small one...)
