Ok we have no clue of the time these events happened so difficult to say at this point. Best practice is for VMware tools to be installed, with time sync disabled on all domain joined virtual guests. You then configure your ESXi hosts to sync time from your DCs. Give that a try before tracking it down any further.

Is this a domain member or stand-alone server? Is there internet access available?

This is a domain member. They also have an Exchange server and a Terminal server and they both don't have this problem.

    Hi, Bart Manders

    This is Chaboon.

You can trouble shoot to time provider (w32time), you use to w32time debug log. you want to w32time debug log enable, see below article.

    This is a domain member.

Might try resetting the time service.

    w32tm /unregister
    net stop w32time
    w32tm /register
    net start w32time
    w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update
    net stop w32time
    net start w32time

    then check

    w32tm /query /source
    w32tm /query /configuration
