Hello,
I am trying to create a linked service connection using Magento(preview) connector.
There is limited information using the azure documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/connector-magento?tabs=data-factory#linked-service-properties, as to what the host URL should be
What format should the host URL be?
Is the format the same as calling a get api? base url + end point. If so, what should be the end point for connection?
I have reached out to our Magento account manager, and they have provided the base URL for API calls, as well as the access token but I get the below error messages. There needs to be an end point.
The error message I get are:
I have also tried using the host url mentioned in the azure documentation, 192.168.222.110/magento3 both on its own, and as a endpoint, this did not work.
Please can you assist with this?
Any further guidance would be highly appreciated!!

Magento(preview) connector, you should use the base URL for API calls provided by your Magento account manager, followed by the endpoint for the connection. The endpoint for the connection is "/V1/integration/admin/token".
Example :
https://<your-magento-base-url>/V1/integration/admin/tokenIn the error message that you have provided, the error code
9603indicates that the host name could not be resolved. This could be because the host URL is incorrect, or because there is a problem with your network connection.I recommend that you double-check the host URL and endpoint that you are using. You may also want to try connecting to your Magento instance using a web browser to make sure that it is accessible.

I have tried the suggested end point, and I still get the 9603 error message. It seems the following endpoint is a call to get an admin access token as oppose to creating a connection to Magento which I can use to then query in a copy activity pipeline.

I apologize for any confusion my previous response may have caused.
- You are correct that the endpoint I provided is used to obtain an admin access token, which is required to authenticate with the Magento API. However, to create a connection to Magento that you can use in a copy activity pipeline, you will need to use a different endpoint.
- The endpoint you should use to create a connection to Magento is
/V1/soap?wsdl=1. This endpoint returns the WSDL (Web Services Description Language) file for the Magento API, which contains information about the available API methods and their parameters.
https://<your-magento-base-url>/V1/soap?wsdl=1
Please replace<your-magento-base-url>with the base URL provided by your Magento account manager. - Once you have obtained the WSDL file, you can use it to create a connection to Magento in Azure Data Factory. To do this, you will need to follow the steps outlined in the Azure Data Factory documentation for creating a linked service using the Magento(preview) connector.
Additionally, it is important to note that the Magento connector in Azure Data Factory is currently in preview, and you may encounter issues or limitations while using it.
