AFAIK, KB5030310 update documentation doesn't include this change:
Windows 11 22H2 Moment 4 update (KB5030310) and never combine taskbar option

I've read several reports that all suggest the Windows 11 22H2 Moment 4 update (KB5030310) includes the never combine taskbar feature.
However, I have installed it into a few fresh, fully updated Windows 11 22H2 virtual machines and I don't see the option in the taskbar settings.
Does anyone know the status of this feature?

you can follow the "Item 2:Download Windows 11 2023 Update with the 23H2 Build Number" and confirm update with <Windows 11 version 23H2>.
P.s. I followed it and restarted for three times and it is working now.

Yes it is not included on some machine only if I understand correctly.
I have 3 computers. 2 pro version and 1 family version.
On 1 family version and 1 pro version, there is no issue with the feature.
The last computer does not has this feature.
Each computer seems to had receive the lastest update on Windows 11 version 22h2, but somehow, according to accepted answer the update 'KB5030310' does not include that?
I think microsoft is scamming us
