How do I prevent the check for the Windows 11 23H2 updates by Users type users?

one idea is to 'Select the target Feature Update version' GPO setting, not exactly what you wanted but in same general direction

example is for Windows 10 21H2, but you could adjust to your version of choice

i believe this translates to registry settings inside Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

There exist more advanced scenarios when including wsus or configuration manager

Following this guide, unfortunately, even users in the Administrators group cannot update the system because the "Check for available updates" button is disabled. How do I avoid this?

I tried the above guide but Windows 11 disables the "Check for Available Updates" button even for users belonging to the Administrators group.

So how do I avoid this?
