SCCM software update error code 0x80004005(-2147467259)

Question

I got an error while trying to deploy the window KB update from SCCM with error code 0x80004005(-2147467259). The device is able to update directly from Microsoft without any issues.

The error 0x80004005(-2147467259) is a general error, means something is wrong. Where do you get this error? Please share the screenshot to narrow down the issue.

2,Please check the ScanAgent.log, WUAHandler.log and UpdatesDeployment.log on the client to see if there is any further information.

Hi, sometimes (large) updates fail if the drive is full. Perhaps the installation folder fits the drive, the space needed to inflate the installation-files may be not enough.
