I have used the copilot chat sometimes ago, just this week I noticed it wasn't functioning and I've tried all means I know to fix it but couldn't. It's icon was disabled the chat window display an empty black screen. I've uninstalled and install it login authorized as well. Kindly help me.

If you try to close VS, rename this folder: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\.IdentityService and sign in VS again, will chat window display something?
I have done as instructed and I have sigin again. I now have a different window displayed, I made it dock as tabbed document so you can see most.

These days, VS 2022 version 17.7.5 has been released, may I know if the same issue also appears in the latest version of VS 2022?
Please also try to reset VS settings by running devenv /ResetSettings in VS Developer Command Prompt.
Feel free to let us know the result.
