Issue with dragging and dropping MS Edge favorites bar items

Since updating MS Edge stable, I am unable to drag and drop my favorite websites on the favorites bar. Whenever I attempt to move them above the favorite folder, they get stuck. Can someone help me fix this issue?

Since updating MS Edge stable, I am unable to drag and drop my favorite websites on the favorites bar.

I tried to reproduce your issue but failed, it seems like drag and drop of favorites works fine in my environment (windows 10 22H2 and Edge Stable 117.0.2045.47). Please check the test result below:

What version of Microsoft Edge are you using? Have you tried the following:

1. Repair/Modify Microsoft Edge. You can find the option in Control Panel or System Settings.
2. If you have sync turned on, reset sync in Edge settings. Profiles --> Sync --> Reset sync.

If the above actions still do not resolve your issue, I recommend you report your issue to the relevant team(Press Alt+Shift+I in Edge) and they will address the issue and provide a fix in a future release.
