If the Edge icon is not responding, try unpinning it from the taskbar and then pinning it again:
- Right-click on the non-responsive Edge icon on the taskbar.
- Select "Unpin from taskbar."
- To pin it again, search for "Microsoft Edge" in the Windows search bar, right-click on the Edge app, and choose "Pin to taskbar."
If Edge continues to not work, you can try resetting the app. Keep in mind that this will remove your browsing history, cookies, and other data. To reset Microsoft Edge:
- Open "Settings" > "Apps."
- Scroll down and find "Microsoft Edge" in the list of apps.
- Click on it and select "Advanced options."
- Under the "Reset" section, click "Reset."
