Windows 11 Printer sharing issues

Have 2 small networks with the same issue. Have a mixture of Windows 10 and Widows 11 PCs. They are all Home edition.  File and Printer sharing with no password protection are the current setting and all set to private network. The printers are mostly USB and are able to share among the Windows 10 without issues.  No matter which way the printer is attempted to install on the windows 11 PC the error is the same Windows is unable to connect to the printer, make the printer is turned on and IP address is correct.  I can browse the network and see the printer but cannot connect.  Have tried –

Manual install with both name and IP address
Run troubleshooter
turn off firewall
run printer installation software

    Network-printer-error-windows-couldnt-connect-to-the-printer

Hi, I have the same problem adding printer sharing on Windows 11 Home and the printer server is in Windows 10 Pro.

I tried to add printer sharing to another PC that uses Windows 10 pro and it does not have a problem like in Windows 11.

The printer is using USB and the type is Epson l220 the error "always checks the printer name and try again" without an error message
