It seems that the file that is missing is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\160\Shared\RsFxInstall\RsFx0700.inf. Can you check if you have this file?

Have you made several installation attempts? I've seen other persons also running into installation failures related to this file. I don't think I've figured out what is going on.

I you have made several installation attempts, it may be best to wipe the registry clean of everything SQL Server related and start over.

    Hi @shahrul saifuddin

Please try to clean up the failed SQL Server installation and then get the download SQL Server 2022 installation file from MS link. Run the installation file as an administrator. When you come to the server configuration screen, change the account name for the database engine service to NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE and continue with the installation.

    Best regards,

    Cosmog Hong
