Skype for Business stuck at connecting to Server Response Code: 488

Hello!

All staff of our organization have the same problem. They can use Skype for Business Web but not the Skype for Business Windows App. I did the Connectivity test and here are the results (everything is a pass except the following). Our domain is hosted on AWS and I followed the posts for DNS configuration and that's a pass.

 Tell me more about this issue and how to resolve it



Couldn't sign in. Error: Error Message: The endpoint was unable to register. See the ErrorCode for specific reason.. Error Type: RegisterException. Deregister Reason: None. Response Code: 488. Response Text: Not acceptable here..

I have the same situation here and customers to. It looks like Microsoft starte to deprovision SfB Backend now. SfB Online Support endetet Jul 31th 2021 and they promised to run the Backend up to 24 month. So you should uninstall the SfB Full client, and use the SfB Meeting Client to join meetings.
