How to stop Office 2019 on the Office apps after installing Office 2021 and removing Office 2019

I have had Office 2019 Pro running and just bought a license for office pro 2021

After installation Office was not showing in Control Panel as being installed, just office 2019

But on running Word showed up as 2019, NOT 2021

Deleted office 2019 using Microsoft Support and recovery assistant. Reported Office 2019 removed.

Re installed Office 2021 via my MS account but now it is still showing as Office 2019 on the apps.

Control panel also reporting Office 2019, not Office 2021

Please help as I am just going round in circles.

Office 2021 and office 2019 both on my MS account.
