DPM2022 Error Code

I'm running DPM 2022 and have multiple server Protection Groups backing up successfully. I recently began to modify those protection groups to "Add online protection". All have been successful with the exception of one group which is failing when I attempt to add the online protection. When I select "Transfer over the network" and finalize the last step, all protection items in the group show an error code 100243 and the modify fails. DPM documentation and internet search does not provide a description or remediation for error code 100243. Can anyone assist.. I'm out of ideas?

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an error with DPM2022. Error code 100243 is not a common error code, and I couldn’t find any specific information about it. However, I found a Microsoft Support article that describes the issues fixed in Update Rollup 1 for Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2022 .

    • Note: Existing Data Protection Manager to Microsoft Azure customers should upgrade to the latest agent (version 2.0.9249.0 or later). If the latest agent is not installed, online backups may fail, and no Data Protection Manager to Microsoft Azure operation will work.
