Video Editing for Students

For a number of years, I've had students create videos using the Video Editor. It has just been downgraded (axed) to be replaced by Clipchamp. Sadly, Chipchamp is an online tool, which is also more complex. Can we get the Photo Video Editor back with Windows 10 and 11, so students don't need to upload their videos to an online service. Thanks!
