When I create a new site on share point and when I try to see the details of the new share point site using MS Graph API , it takes hours to display new site data on Graph API, is there a way to resolve this issue ?

When I received the case, I searched a lot of documents did a lot of researches. And I feel regretful to inform you that it turns out to be a by-design one. And I noticed that some end users have also proposed the same request, it is highly recommended that you can vote this ticket. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Hi @pas_jjan

After several tests, I found that the data obtained by Graph api search should be cached data, and the cache will not be refreshed frequently.

I tried using Search to find the newly created subsite by name, and it took about 5 minutes. If I created a file and found it by file name, it also took 5 minutes. However, if you provide the site ID, listID, and item ID to obtain it, you can obtain the information very accurately.

So I thought of getting the SiteID via power shell and then

The newly created Site can be found directly through the ID.

Here is test by use site id to get site information

I searched for all sites, and then searched for the newly created site in the return value. This did not return the newly created site information.

This makes me even more convinced that the data queried by search should be cached data, and it takes time to synchronize the data.

Thank you for the attention that you paid on this scenario. Actually the use case of the Graph API is to communicate between user account and Microsoft Add-in which is currently developed by our development team. Since we are limited to Graph API on this point , we couldn't have ability to use power shell inside of the Add-in. But your finding makes us more understanding on current behavior for new sites in Graph API.
