    Hello!

If you are receiving the "The media is write protected" error when trying to turn off BitLocker, it may be due to a setting in your computer's BIOS. Here are the steps you can follow to fix this issue:

    1. Restart your computer and enter the BIOS settings by pressing the appropriate key (usually F2, F10, or Delete) during startup.
    2. Look for a setting related to write protection or read-only mode for your hard drive or storage device. This setting may be located in the Security or Boot sections of the BIOS.
    3. Disable the write protection or read-only mode setting and save the changes.
    4. Restart your computer and try turning off BitLocker again.

    Best Regards,

    Hania Lian
