I have noticed I keep getting this error and it goes into a loop. I have observed the following...
- when i have 3 VS instances open it does not pick up changes i make and initiate a build
- when i close the other 2 instances it picks up the code changes and builds.
- I have the project pointed to network drive - I cannot move it to local drive.
- And neither can i stop the other VS instances, as one of them is API core that i need to run along side angular project.
- I have 8 vcpus and 8 gb RAM.
This has become a real pain point and would really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.
To narrow down this issue, could you please try to create two Angular projects, save one on the network drive, save the other locally, and check if the error appears. I know that you cannot move it to local drive but it seems that the files need to be put locally.

Perhaps you opened too many things, and the number of the watchers was out of the maximum limit. Is it possible for you to reduce launching something?

2023-10-12T17:37:25.1466667+00:00 Like what? All i launched was 3 VS instances. As i mentioned in my first post if i close 2 VS instances then i do not see that error often. But i need to have at least 2 VS instances open - one for Angular, one for API and one for DB project. For now i am working on local drive which is so very fast - but cannot be my long term solution.
