Setting up Windows Fax and Scan

How can I set up the Windows Fax and Scan app? I've looked for documentation but can't find clear instructions on how to set up the fax, or how to determine whether my device has a fax module. When I check hardware properties, it shows the Microsoft shared fax driver as the model, so I'm unsure if my device actually has a fax module. Can anyone provide guidance on how to set up Windows Fax and Scan?

This is old feature of Windows, in the past like during time of Windows XP where devices has dial-up connection, you could use it to send Fax. In case you have dial-up port, then you might be able to send and receive fax (which is less likely in new devices). However, you may create Fax account and try send and receive fax through an online service or you need to have a Fax device and connect over network.
