Intune company portal app error 0x87D1041C

Hello,

We get the error "The application was not detected after installation completed successfully (0x87D1041C)" for the company portal app when changing it from user context installation to system context installation. However, I have tested that everything works as normal until now. Can I ignore this error? Or what should I do?

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

    Per my experience, we can safely ignore the error. The installation is running, it just isn't being detected properly since it was previously installed in user context. This error is expected in a sense when switching between user and system context installs as described. Then the company portal app will update and work normally.
