Issue in logging in to Github Copilot in VS code

Hello Everyone ,

My team of developers want to deploy a code in to Azure APP services and they also using Github Copilot in developing the solution in Python , everything went good till yesterday , but when we wanted to switch to new Github account its giving us some issues and its taking the default login only and we also stuck with where to login using our new Git hub credentials in VS code for Copilot , Your help to our team in this issue is much appreciated .

    Hi @AlistearM-7726

    Request your team to follow steps as mentioned below.

    1. In the VS code editor first sign out from the existing account.

    1. Click Account icon in the VS code editor sign in with your GitHub Account with proper credentials.
    2. It will ask you for Device Verification and then your Device Verification code.
    3. Click Verify button.
    4. Check the box for allow GitHub to use my code snippets for product improvements.
    5. Once completed these steps and close the VS Code Editor.
    6. Again open the VS Code Editor ensure that Copilot icon will be activated at the bottom of the VS code editor.
    7. Now the GitHub Copilot editor will be working fine your team can develop solutions using Python.
    8. After code is built using Python and your team will be able to positioning deployment in the Azure App service.
