SubmitTask handler doesn't trigger the `/invoke` API call in the New MS Teams desktop application

We were using the MS Teams JS client SDK in our custom application. We use the submitTask to submit the modal but we could notice that the submit task handler doesn't trigger the /invoke API call in the New Microsoft teams desktop application whereas the same works in the classic version of Microsoft teams. This seems to be issue with the newer version. Kindly look into this.

got the latest version. It was last updated on 12/10/2023.
The client version is 49/23091420225.

Microsoft Teams Client SDK - JS - 2.15.0
Microsoft Teams version - 23247.720.2421.8365.
Last updated - 12/10/2023.
Client version - 50/23091420225.
I couldn't able to install the New Teams version that you mentioned above, but I don't think that will fix the issue.
The below piece of code works well with the classic version but not with the new Teams version.
import * as microsoftTeams from '@microsoft/teams-js' microsoftTeams.tasks.submitTask(taskData);submitTaskfunction call closes the modal but it doesn't trigger me the/invokeAPI in the new Teams. -
