The download was successful and I can listen to the play and pause actions, but the screen stays blank.

    Hi @Katalin Chen ,

I don't meet such issue on my Edge (version:117.0.2045.60). On my side, it plays well.

Is it a certain MP4 file that screen blanked, or is it all MP4 files? Can this problem be reproduced on other browsers? Have you ever encountered a similar situation before Edge 117?

You could try to following methods:

    1.Clear your browsing data

Settings> Privacy and services> Under the “Clear browsing data” section, click the Choose what to clear button>

Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

    2.Disable Hardware Acceleration

Settings> System and performance> disable "Use hardware acceleration when available."

3.Do you have any extension in Edge? You can try to disable all the extensions in Edge and test again.

Then, restart your edge and check if this issue persists.

    Best regards,

    Wenying Lu
